I have been thinking a bit about why I create, make & do the things I do everyday in my studio.
mainly because I am addicted to this room.
It is my safe place.
My comfort.
My music playing.
My little boy running around me or wanting up so he can hammer too.
It's my everyday routine to be in here as much as possible.
Sometimes it's clean & at other times it's a complete disaster.
but this is me & this is the space I choose to spend most of my time.
What I create:
depends on mood.
or Etsy orders.
or if Dax will let me actually get something done.
or if the computer isn't calling my name...ha ha or distracting me.
jewelry.
paper arts.
mixed media.
home decor.
toys & other things for Dax.
or anything else that comes to mind...
The fact is I love to create. I love to make ART. I love to do things for other people & see how they react to what I make. It's a good feeling. Warm & fuzzy inside. & that is what makes creating worth while.
