hello again

Mexico.

So, it turns out I am a loser when it comes to taking photos, but luckily others took photos, just need to get them from them. But MEXICO. cancun, playa del carmen, Barcelo. 32 of us all had such an amazing time. So weird to be gone for Christmas. Honestly didn't even feel like Christmas this year. But an unforgettable time. I can't thank my parents enough for taking us all down there.

one word to sum it up: AMAZING.

Tis the season...

It's funny how this part of the year just seems to zoom by. I can't believe that this year is almost over. I have been so busy filling jewelry orders for people for christmas that I feel like I haven't even really stopped to breath.

We are going out of town for Christmas this year. That will be weird. My entire family (photo to come soon) is going to Mexico.

my mom is turning 60 this year (on the 29th). so to celebrate we are all going on this awesome trip to the beach.

Three things that I have struggled with a bit lately.

Isn't it true that if you are not trying to improve yourself you are just moving backwards?

I don't want to be stagnate.

Just got these such cool little diapers for my little man. they are called g diapers. I have been looking at getting these ever since Dax was born, but never did it & then I saw them at the store the other day & thought, I could do this. I NEED to do this. So I AM. Instead of me always talking about doing something like this, I decided to do it. & they are awesome! & so easy to use. Plus they are super super cute. Check out there website for all the cool colors. Most of all, I am doing something, maybe small, but am doing something to help the mass amounts of diapers that go into the landfills everyday.

op-shops.

I love the name op-shops (thrifty, flea market type stores that have little treasures that can't be found anywhere else.) Em introduced me to the name a while back, it just sounds so cool. such an Australian way of saying it. Anyway, while em was here we made it down to the op-shops in central phoenix, something I look forward to, & even though I live here, I don't make it down there, but every few months. It was so much fun, I just love an all girls trip to the shops. It's so much more fun than when you drag a guy along with you, they just don't get it. I need to take photos of the stuff I found; a few tins & boxes, trucks for dax & few odds & ends for my studio. But I did take this photo of a shop we hit, it has such a cool look & feel. Can't wait to get back to these shops.
