hello again

Potential.

A few goals that I am working on at the moment.

• Finishing orders from etsy & my trunk show before Christmas.
• Blogging at least every other day.
• Organizing my studio.
• Learning more about photoshop.

My good friend em & her family have been here all weekend & sadly had to go home today. I really didn't want them to leave. We never get to everything we want to & never eat at all the yummy places I want to take them to. Dang it. They better come back soon. But the one thing she did do for me(THANK YOU) was take photos of our little family. We haven't really had family photos taken, good ones anyway, since Dax was born. (pathetic parent I am.) But now was the time & good timing at that. Dax just learned to walk, which made it so much easier on all of us. He is at that, I am not going to sit still for more than 2 seconds stage, but em captured him perfectly. So now my goal is to figure out how to make them look extra special in photoshop & add some goodies to the edges & most of all make a Christmas card out of one of them. The banner at the top is something I just played around with a bit & here is another one that I want to play around with, see what I can do to an already pretty dang perfect photo.

 We had a great Thanksgiving weekend & I can't wait for them to come back so we can play again!

Just wanted to wish everyone a Happy Thxgiving & the start to a great holiday season! I am excited about eating all day tomorrow & sitting around relaxing. Yum Yum.

So, I have been in the dark I guess about this awesome new thing (new to me) called twitter. Seriously it's so cool. you can follow people and companies as they tell you what they are up to or what new things they are selling on etsy or just anything they want. I guess it's called mirco blogging. really you should check it out. so cool. my good friend tena just told me all about it, why havent I known about this before!! ha ha. (it's addictive.)

 

first haircut.

so this past weekend we took Dax to get his first haircut. Man was that an adventure. A crying, screaming adventure.

he was total fine once it was over & he looks so dang cute! not that he didn't look so cute before. just a little more groomed now.

Just thought I would share that I put up a new ad on the side of my blog here that goes to my etsy shop.  I just added a bunch of new jewelry that I have been working on. Some of the new stuff can be done as custom pieces that I would put your own kids initials or names on. here are a few examples of what can be done. but please keep in mind that I love to do custom pieces & i would love to work with you on creating a unique piece of your very own.

Halloween.

So this is Dax's 2nd official halloween, but really he wasn't even sure what was happening this time either. Maybe next year. At least this year we dressed him up & man did he look cute. My sister made this dog costume for her now 10 year old, but it still looks great & it was free. (which was even better.)

this is Mallow. Dax loves him & Mallow loves Dax. He is HUGE. but I thought it was so funny how they were both dogs for the night. by the way, he was just playing around, no one got hurt.
