I can't believe he is already 1. That is insane. I can't believe that yesterday Dax was brought into our lives. This year has gone by so fast & he is growing up so fast. It really blows my mind.
So as 1st birthdays go, the child has no idea what is happening, yet the parents & grandparents (especially) have to give the child a party. & so we did. It went well (I think). short & sweet. we went to the park across the street from our house. good times, except that they are overseeding the grass for winter & so they water the grass an extra lot & the sprinklers came on right when everyone was just stilling down with there chili. it was a good laugh & I am sure something we will remember forever. we all scrambled up & moved into the dry area until the sprinklers turned off. oh well...
here are a few pictures from the party. he got some great presents (thanks everyone) & he got very very messy with his cake. It took him a few minutes to get into it, but then he went all out. good times for sure. love this little boy.
