hello again

units of exercise.

1/2 hour of exercise=1 unit.

david & I started a new contest. 

That I really like so far (maybe cause i am kicking his butt.)

we don't know what the winner will get yet, (i said an iphone.) or when the contest will end. but, I think it's good for us. then it's not about weight. It's about exercise, which is what really matters. 

a healthier life.

reinvent the already done.

SO this past weekend was one I will never forget. for a few reasons:

• I left dax with david for the first time over night.
• I went to create art for art's sake
• I got to do something that I forgot I could do 

 

I went to the art weekend that em hosted. she had anahata come & teach us all some mix media projects. I had such a great time just creating & hanging out with some really great women. It was hard to be away from dax for the first time, but I think he had a great time with his daddy & I think his daddy had a great time with him. anyway, here are a few pictures for the event. this has really motivated me to want to create. I actually already have gotten messy again since this past weekend. I will post what I have created tomorrow. I have to put the final touches on it today.

I had a great weekend! & now I want to create more art like this. which is the whole point, right?

I'm in trouble.

He is what you call a Climber. Can't even quite walk yet. (taking a few steps, standing on his own) I seriously don't know what to do??

this is in my studio. he climbs up on to the couch & then onto the arm rest. if he fell, which he hasn't done yet, it would be like a 3 ft fall. he has fallen off the couch, it's 18 inches from the floor. I'm in trouble.

climber boy.

he loves to look out the window. but he's not quite tall enough yet. so the stool came in great hand. no hesitation to try to climb up on it & pier out the window for countless minutes.

Rule #43.

If the mess they make keeps them entertained longer than the time it takes me to clean it up, then it's totally worth the mess.

baby sitter.

we were all trying to get the camp organized & Dax & Yindi were playing on a blanket. Ivy comes over to the babies & starts playing with them. She looks up at me & says: "It can be like I am there baby sitter." I thought that was so cute. She is so good with the babies. & Dax just loves her. Kept wanting to give her kisses & loves. Thanks Ivy for all your help.

Monday. September 1st.

We just got back from camping. & it was all about the babies. They had so much fun & so did we. It was so nice to get out of the above 100 degree weather for a few days. To just be able to go outside. To stay outside all day, that was nice. I feel like we have been trapped inside because of how hot it is during the day. & Dax loves to be outside. So this was perfect. We got to go with the such a good group of people too, which included the falconbridges & the griffiths & the blacks. 

Today: I love when a month starts on a monday. It feels so fresh. It just makes me want to organize & clean everything. Well in theory that's what I think in my head. But I am busy making lists today of all the things I want to accomplish. I guess it is the time of year, when everyone is going back to school & vacations are over for the most part & fall is getting close. it just feels like a great time to make goals & accomplish everything that needs to be checked off the endless list.

• laundry (piles & piles that all smell like a camp fire).
• make sure it all is folded (this one is hard for me). 
• clean the floors.
• clean up the rest of the camping stuff. 
• grocery shop for the week. 
• work on list for jewelry stuff to get done.  

let see how this list plays out.
