i know i havent posted since friday. but on saturday i did work out. well, kind of... we (me, david & dax) went to the park together. david has been wanting to get back into skateboarding (back story, we used to skateboard together way back in junior high & high school, yes we have known each other since we were 13). so anyway, we went to the park & we both skated around for a while, then we walked around the park. it was such a beautiful day out, but of course i did not bring my camera (see first off...)
sunday was the perfect relax day. as always. i love a good relaxing sunday. church & then napping & eating & hanging out with family. love that.
today was another good work out day, david got home from work & we went mtn. biking together. it was such a beautiful day out after it had rained all day & night yesterday. i am loving being out doors & in nature.
accomplished today:
mtn. biking: 45 minutes
lunges
today was a much better day. to start it off, dax slept from 830pm till 6am this morning! talk about WOW. got to love that. cross your fingers for tonight! let's hope this is a new trend, i sure would love that. then to top it all off, he seemed happier today than the past few days. ever since he was born he has been a bit (ok, more than a bit) of a puker (spits up a TON!) so finally i took him in to a GI doctor, took a month to get in to see someone. they had me change a few things about his food, mainly adding rice cereal to every bottle i give him, this is suppose to help keep his food down & help him put on a little weight, cause he is just a little peanut. so i have been pumping like crazy & giving him a few formula bottles as well, so far so good. i think that he is getting a bit better at the whole puking thing. hopefully even better tomorrow. love the little guy so much, i just want him to be as healthy as possible.
as for working out today, david & i went on a hike/trail run. so much fun. we are so lucky to have a national forest with in walking/biking distance from our house. it really makes it easy to get out in nature, especially this time of year. can't beat an arizona winter.

today was one of those days. you know what i mean...
when your child is extremely fussy.
you don't get anything done.
you don't know what to do with yourself or your child.
when you have tried everything you can think of.
but now he is in bed & things are good. he needs his sleep & i need a few minutes to catch my breath.
dax did calm down for a few minutes & played on his mat, he loves this thing.
also finished this sign for my front door. i am loving making these signs. they are so much fun to make.
today i decided, because dax was so fussy, to go on a long walk as my exercise, it was good, he was calm & that was a blessing.

i cant believe it's already been 17 days since i made this goal to work out for 21 days straight (minus sundays). that's crazy. more than that, i havent lost sight of my goal. of course i have had moments of not wanting to, but i have nipped it right in the bud. cause i decided that this is just how it's going to be & for once in my life i am going to follow through with something. gotta love that. seriously, i think i am growing up a bit. go ME.

stroller exercises: 10 minutes
working out is really becoming part of my everyday. loving that i dont have to think about working out, cause it just happens everyday, no questions asked. plus i am having fun!

mountain biking! i went again today with david & it was so much fun. we really had to book it today cause the sun was going down fast. david didnt get home from work until 530pm, & the sun goes down at like 6pm, but we did it in 45 minutes, so we were only in the dark for the last few minutes. i have always been scared to do much mtn. biking in the past, because i had a bad experience when i was younger. when i was in 8th grade i broke my jaw on a mtn. bike, went right over the handle bars & landed on my face. but i am trying to get past that & think positive. its working, i am loving it.

first off, i know i didn't post yesterday, but i did workout. well, kind of, i did something & that is better than nothing (my new saying).

today was a good day. i love when a saturday is exactly like you planned it. david & i went mtn. biking this morning. & i actually did it. i actually went on a real trail. it was my first time. & i loved it. i want more. then we went over to our friends house, they had a little boy 5 weeks after we had our little boy, so its fun to get together & hang out with them. then we went over to david's mom's house for dinner. now dax is asleep & we are just hanging out. such a nice day. i want more of days like today.

& already holding a bottle, well, kind of...
normally we don't feed him bottles. but i was gone & thought i wouldn't be home in time to feed him, so i had already pumped a bottle. i tell you, for not having a bottle very often, he sure knows what to do with it. so cute.
yesterday i said that i had been working on something, well i finished it today. so i thought i would show you. i am thinking about making more of these & selling them in my etsy shop. it was so fun to make. & now i am thinking of all the possibilities.
& for working out today...
